What To Expect - Step by Step

1

Start Where You Are

3

4

Pregnant, postpartum or just planning ahead — you don’t need a problem to reach out. Many families meet with an IBCLC before baby arrives to feel prepared and confident.

2

Check your Insurance Coverage (or Self Pay)

5

Your insurance company may cover lactation services. Check in with your provider or reach out and we’ll help verify your benefits for lactation support.

Or simply choose Self-pay if insurance isn’t an option. Either way, we’ll help you find the right next step.

Book Your Visit

Schedule a prenatal class, postpartum consult, or virtual visit that fits your family’s needs and timing.

Get Evidence-Based Support

Meet with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) for personalized guidance on latch, supply, feeding goals, and concerns.

Feed with Confidence - and plenty of follow-up

You’ll leave with a clear care plan, trusted resources, and follow-up support so you’re not left guessing after the visit.

What is an IBCLC?

An IBCLC, or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, is the highest credential in breastfeeding care. IBCLCs are trained to give you personalized, evidence-based guidance — from helping your baby latch and increasing supply to designing a pumping schedule that works for your life. While other lactation educators can provide support, only IBCLCs have the clinical training and experience to address complex breastfeeding challenges and tailor solutions to your family’s unique needs.
